NEW Entrance !
We are ready to open up the Main Front Entry to Black!
          Our Main Front Entry will open on Monday, February 9, 2015! All building doors will be locked except for this door. This is will be the main entry for the public from 8:00 a.m. – 4:20 p.m.
Student Arrival: Breakfast students will come in the main front entry at 8:30. Students who eat breakfast will be greeted by Ms. Terhune or Ms. Wullschleger at 8:30. Students who do not eat breakfast will come in through Door #1 at 8:50. Students can come in this door until 9:00. Students who arrive after nine o’clock need to be brought into the main office and an adult needs to sign them in. Here they will get a late slip, so they can enter the classroom.
Door #3 will be where Kindergarten can enter the building who are with their parents. If students are not with a parent, they will need to go in through the front entry like all other students are to do. Parents and their Kindergarten student will be greeted by a Black Traditional Magnet staff member and only Kindergarten students will be let in from 8:50-9:00 only. After the 9:00 bell, the student will need to come in through the Front Entry or Door #1.
Pre-K Arrival: Pre-kindergarten students we will continue with the same arrival procedures which are: to be brought to the back of the building Door #10 and we will let them in there from 8:50 to 9:00 and 1:10 to 1:20. If you arrive after 9:00 or 1:20 they are late and you will need to come in through the new front entrance, go through the office and get a tardy slip. This change will take effect on Monday February 9, 2015.
Door #3: Kindergarten and First Grade Exit
Door #1 or Main Front Entry: Second and Third Grade
Door #10: Fourth grade Beckmann’s class to exit.
Door #11: Pre-k and Fourth grade Terhune’s will exit.
Door #12: Fifth Grade will exit.
Door #13: Only Bus students will exit this door.
SAP Arrival and Dismissal: Door #13 will be for SAP from 6:30-8:00 a.m. and 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. Door #13 will be locked from 8-4:30 and everyone will need to come through the main front entry.
